Jason Levy

I am a versatile and driven creative professional with a lifetime of experience in design, manufacturing, and hands-on craftsmanship.
I got my first dirt bike at the age of 4 and began racing motocross by 5. Racing quickly became a passion alongside motocross, I immersed myself in BMX and skateboarding throughout my junior high and high school years. During this time, my love for art and design also flourished. I took numerous art classes and excelled in drafting and architecture, inspired by my grandfather, a highly successful engineer in the aircraft industry.
After high school I had to get a full time job right away to support myself. My journey began in construction, where I gained valuable skills and obtained a C-36 contractor’s license. Shortly after, I transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding a snowboard company. I built the factory, designed tooling and molds, and pioneered innovative snowboard designs, including one of the industry’s first full-length wood core, perimeter cap construction boards.
Following my success in snowboarding, I moved into wakeboard manufacturing, collaborating with a lifelong friend. Simultaneously, I taught myself graphic design and eventually launched BLTeck, my freelance design business. During this period, I built three magazines simultaneously while working with a growing roster of clients, marking an early milestone in my career as a freelance graphic artist.
In the early 2000s, I co-founded a streetwear brand and worked as a designer for an American road race team, overseeing team uniforms, rider gear, branding, and hospitality setups. After parting ways with the brand, I continued as a freelance designer, collaborating with various companies before joining 111 Ink as Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Creative.
Later, I launched a successful large-format printing company in Huntington Beach, working with top-tier clients such as Monster Energy, Honda Pro Racing, Kawasaki, Troy Lee Designs, and leading action sports athletes. This business thrived for over a decade, giving me hands-on experience with world-class brands and events.
Driven by my love for creativity, I have honed diverse skills over the years, including painting, sewing, furniture design and restoration, leatherworking, fabricating, and even guitar. I have always had a keen ear for sound and a good eye for lighting and photography. Making things look good and eye catching in any given situation comes natural to me.
Currently, I reside in Northridge, California, where I work as a freelance designer. With a deep passion for creating and a wealth of experience across industries, I’m eager to bring my diverse skill set and artistic vision to a new opportunity.
